Objectives:                                                                                                 Total budget of the call: EUR 3.000.000

The specific objective of this intervention is to create income generating and employment opportunities among ethnic minority communities throughout Kosovo, thereby creating sustainable livelihoods and improved socio-economic conditions.

The priority area include:

    -Funding start up and existing small income generation projects and micro enterprises (in agro processing and small business
     development)
    -Supporting business associations, agricultural associations and individual farmers through the provision of small tailored made assistance
     and technical assistance
    -Supporting community development projects enabling inclusion and integration of the entire community, including agricultural and
     economic development programmes as well as social, cultural and recreational activities
    -Supporting minority returnee communities, facilitated to return through an EU-funded RRK programme, in order to facilitate increased
     inter-ethnic dialogue and reconciliation activities as well as community development and individual assistance in support of their
     sustainable reintegration in Kosovo.   

Budget:

The overall indicative amount made available under this call for proposals is EUR 3 million. The Contracting Authority reserves the rights not to award all available funds.

Size of grants:


The Contracting Authority will award one grant only. The amount of the grant will be for the entire amount available, i.e. EUR 3 million.

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants must:

   -Be legal persons
   -Be non profit making
   -Be non governmental organizations or international (inter-governmental) organizations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing rules
    to the EC Financial Regulations
   -Be nationals of a Member State of the European Union, or of a countries covered by Article 19 of IPA regulation. This obligation does not
    apply to international organizations
   -Be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary
