Contract description: Maximum budget: EUR 278.000
The main purpose of this project is to contribute to capacity building of the State Office for Radiological and Nuclear Safety (SORNS) and public health care institutions to assure efficient evaluation and control of medical exposure radiation doses related to application of radiodiagnostic procedures, mainly through:
- developing, promoting and implementing quality assurance programmes, including quality control (QC) measures and patient dose
assessments,
- strengthening public awareness about ionising radiation exposures particularly due to medical exposure,
- evaluating the doses delivered to patients and evaluating their contribution to the collective dose from various specific radiological
techniques (CT, mammography, fluoroscopy, conventional radiography, interventional radiology),
- building SORNS's personnel's capacity to compare technical services performance related to occupational exposure.
Budget:
Maximum budget: 278.000 EUR.
Eligibility:
Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations. The participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
