Background
The project Support to Anti-Corruption Efforts in Kosovo (SAEK) II is expected to have a positive impact on reducing the level of corruption in Kosovo by strengthening monitoring and oversight mechanisms of institutions to perform in an efficient, transparent, accountable, and gender sensitive manner. The project will ensure greater transparency and accountability of those institutions responsible for delivering public services and create the necessary requirements for more participatory governance at the local level.
Responsibilities
- Act as focal points for SAEK II, in regard to activities relating to municipal integrity plans, with particular emphasis in monitoring of
implementation of integrity plans;
- Support and coordinate the implementation of SAEK II project activities in the assigned municipality/ies;
- Assist the mayors and municipal officials in regular biannual public reporting on the implementation of integrity plan;
- Identify changes in the external environment and promptly advise the SAEK II Project Manager and the Project Team on necessary
solutions/actions;
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in public administration, public policy, social sciences, political science, development or other relevant
fields
- At least 5 years’ experience on public administration or related issues in Kosovo.
- Experience in working in anti-corruption, transparency and accountability issues is an advantage.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills;
