Background 


Creative entrepreneurs are pivotal figures for the creative economy: by bridging the gap between artists and consumers, they drive forward the economic and cultural development of societies. The British Council partnered with the UK’s agency for business and technological innovation Nesta to develop 5 days’ trainings where you can acquire unique knowledge and skills to help you develop your idea or a startup into a sustainable and powerful business.  The programme is delivered in partnership with creative hubs in different cities of Ukraine. Local partner – PwC.

For Whom?

  - The trainings are targeted at people working across the creative and cultural businesses or startups in: publishing, design, fashion, music,
    theatre/dance, film/TV, videogames and digital media, visual arts, architecture and festival management.  
  - Participants can be either established entrepreneurs, who already work with their creative idea and have 2-3 years of experience in their
    business; or people at a pre-trading stage, with a creative idea which they wish to turn into a solid business. 
  - Participants need to be 18+ years and speak either Ukrainian or Russian (translation from English will be provided).
