Background
Project name: Study on Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in the Western Balkans
The global objective of the assignment is to assess the impact of the SEZs on the local economy of the six Western Balkans economies and to assess their conformity with the evolving EU norms and standards as well as those of the OECD.
Required Skills and Experience
- University Degree, preferably in Economics;
- At least 6 years of professional experience in the field of investment and/or trade and/or economic analysis and/or taxation;
- Experience in project management;
- Experience in coordination/supervision of research;
- Good knowledge of one or more of the investments, trade or taxation support policies and instruments;
- Previous working experience in the Western Balkans region in the field of economic development will be an advantage.
- Fluent in written and spoken English;
- Command of any of the main languages spoken in the countries of operation will be a strong asset;
