Job Description:
To participate in a collaboration to identify and harmonise best practices in cancer care, including screening programmes, diagnosis and treatment, and after care and to encourage uptake of such practices at national and local level.
The work will also address a possible EU-wide accreditation scheme for breastcancer centres which could also be used for assuring uptake of best practices in countries not directly affiliated to the EU. Other activities will address data quality and metadata standards for improved harmonisation of national and regional cancer registries.
Requirements
Selection criteria:
- Candidates must have a PhD.
- Candidates ideally will have a background in medicine with specialism in a cancer-related discipline (cancer-screening, oncology,
radiology, etc.) or in epidemiology.
- Good communication skills are important to develop networking and to help coordinate national activities and initiatives in the area.
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English is required.

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Faroe Islands, Iceland, Israel, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey.
