Background
Under the guidance and direct supervision of the head of ICT Unit, the ICT Assistant provides ICT support services to staff and administrative support to the ICT unit, provides daily technical support to users of information management tools and technology infrastructure. The ICT Assistant promotes a client-oriented approach.
Responsibilities
- Ensures effective functioning of the office hardware/software packages, provides ICT Helpdesk services to users and supports networks
administration, focusing on the achievement of the following results
- Ensures facilitation of Audio/Video Conferences and Communications in the office, focusing on achievement of the following result
- Provides software development assistance in the office, focusing on achievement of the following result
Required Skills and Experience
- Secondary education with relevant certifications in hardware and software management and application (Microsoft Certification, Cisco
Certification are an asset). University Degree in Computer Science is an asset.
- More than 3 years of relevant work experience, including ICT helpdesk user support, network administration, software development
(.NET or ColdFusion desirable but not a requirement), management of hardware and software platforms, telecommunications facilities
- Fluency in English and Serbian.
