Background
ESERE Project is in need of visual documentation of the project activities and events throughout its implementation stages in order to produce communication and advocacy materials to be used with a view to enlisting institutional and public support and maximize awareness results regarding the economic development and social inclusion of Roma and Egyptian communities. The Consultant will work under the direct supervision of UNDP/ESERE Project Manager and will be responsible to provide high-quality package of photographic documentation and video footages throughout ESERE project implementation stages in line with UNDP standarts to be used in ESERE and UNDP publications, social and traditional media.
Responsibilities
- Develop a detailed work plan in line with the ESERE project Work-plan and Project Communication Strategy and Action Plan, with the outline
of proposed photo coverage and video footage of events and activities and on recommended themes and stories to be covered.
- Undertake periodical field trips to ESERE project areas of intervention to obtain high quality professional photos and video footages in line
with the project thematic areas of intervention.
- Provide inputs in the format of high quality professional photos and video footages for the project photo brochure, periodical newsletter,
facebook account, Best Practices Brochure, Video Diaries etc.
- Develop at least four (4) video diaries where project beneficiaries speak about project results.
- Develop at least four (4) video documentaries highlighting project results.
- Provide all necessary photographic, video and digital images to ESERE/UNDP office periodically and on completion of the assignment.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education Degree in Photography and /or Journalism or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing communication tools/materials.
- Experience of designing video diaries and social documentaries, preferably on Roma issues.
- Fluency in written and spoken Albanian and English
