Background
The Technical Advisor is responsible for monitoring of projects and providing substantive guidance for UNDP Serbia’s Public Finance Portfolio, thus ensuring that the projects within the portfolio produce the results specified in the project documents, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring of portfolio progress; risks management; ensuring that issues are identified and addressed; progress and results reporting;
- Provide quality assurance for portfolio results and deliverables, and, ensure these results are duly communicated
- Support partnerships, resource mobilization and provide policy advise to national partners
- Performance Indicators for evaluation of results
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum MA or equivalent in the field of economy, political science, organizational science, law, or other related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in the field of public finances, preferably in a multilateral development context, with at
least 5 years in high level public policy formulation, strategic and management advisory services;
- Experience in managing teams and complex projects/processes that included extensive communication, coordination and facilitation

- Excellent writing/reporting and presentation skills;
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Serbian and English
