Background
The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to foster economic regeneration and job creation in rural areas of Azerbaijan. The specific objective of this Call for Proposals is to promote community based initiatives for market-driven income and employment generation in rural areas of Azerbaijan. The intention is to support, through this grant scheme, selected initiatives that strengthen income generating capacity, local employment generation and socio-economic development of the non-Absheron regions.
Eligibility
- be a legal person
- be non-profit-making
- be a specific type of organization such as: non-governmental organization, public sector operator, local authority, international (inter-
governmental) organization as defined by Article 43 of the Rules of application of the EU Financial Regulation
- be established in the Republic of Azerbaijan , a Member State of the European Union, accession or official candidate country or the
European Economic Area . This obligation does not apply to international organizations and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting
as an intermediary.
Grant
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts/percentage
- Min. amount: EUR 200,000 - Min. percentage: 50 % of the total eligible costs of the action.
- Max. amount: EUR 1,000,000 - Max. percentage: 90 % of the total eligible costs of the action
