Background

This call for proposals invites civil society organisations to participate and engage to further supporting the development of the civil society sector in Albania and creation of an open platform that will further enhance cooperation between all civil society organisations, donor community, state institutions and other relevant stakeholders. The Resource centre activities will aim at further promoting and strengthening coordination and collaboration with other civil society groups and state institutions in the implementation of the Roadmap for supporting the enabling environment for civil society in Albania and strengthening efforts of civil society to engage further in the EU accession process for Albania. 


 Eligibility

In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person and;
- be non-profit-making and;
- be a civil society organisation, such as non-governmental organizations;
- be legally registered in Albania;
  and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and
  affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary; and
- be experienced (minimum of 3 years of experience within the last 5 years, contributing to the
  development of civil society sector (having conducted at least five of activities mentioned under Types
  of activities, section 2.1.4), and able to demonstrate their technical expertise and capacity to manage
  activities corresponding to the size and type of the project for which a grant is requested ; and
- be free of any political affiliations or membership.

Budget

Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:

- minimum amount: EUR 500,000.00
- maximum amount: EUR 500,000.00
