Background
The aim of this call for proposal is to provide services to CSOs locally via a national RC acting independently in Serbia during the upcoming third phase of TACSO. The RC is expected to contribute to empowering CSOs by supporting them in their organisational development and effectiveness, while cooperating with TACSO 3 which is expected to focus on the regional perspective.
The global objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen the EU integration process in Serbia by empowering civil society to actively participate in decision making and by further stimulating an enabling environment for civil society.
The specific objectives of this call for proposals are to further strengthen the capacity of CSOs and enhance their long-term strategic development via a national resource centre.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person and
- be non-profit-making and
- be civil society organisations and
- be stablished in a Member State of the European Union or in a country covered by the Article 10 of the
CIR Regulation and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and
affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary and be free of any political affiliations or
membership and
- have minimum 2 years of experience within the last 5 years (from the submission of applications) in the
field of civil society capacity building in Serbia (eligible actions/activities mentioned under section
2.I.4).
Budget
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
-minimum amount: EUR 490,000
-maximum amount: EUR 500,000
