Background
The action “Support to Civil Protection” will seek to facilitate the cooperation of all civil protection actors in BiH for achieving increased coordination and interoperability in prevention against, preparedness for and response to natural and man-made disasters, including interventions in neighbouring communities in the region and abroad.
The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to reduce vulnerability and to increase resilience to natural and man-made disasters at all levels in BiH.
The specific objective of this Call for Proposal is to improve civil protection capacities for emergency prevention, preparedness and response to natural and man-made disasters observing the best European practices.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person and
- be non-profit-making and
- be national level institutions, authorities or administration of the Member States of the European
Union responsible for civil protection and / or emergency disaster management and
- For British applicants: Please be aware that eligibility criteria must be complied with for the entire
duration of the grant. If the United Kingdom withdraws from the EU during the grant period without
concluding an agreement with the EU ensuring in particular that British applicants continue to be
eligible, you will cease to receive EU funding (while continuing, where possible to participate) or be
required to leave the project on the basis of Article 12.2 of the General Conditions1 to the grant
agreement'.
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and
affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
Budget
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must not exceed the maximum amount:
