Objectives
The global objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen the capacity of CSOs to contribute to fair and transparent elections.
The specific objective(s) of this call for proposals are: CSOs are able to communicate the results of their activities to the public; National and/or local authorities have enabling policies and rules for grass-roots organisations and/or civic initiatives; CSOs monitor and evaluate the results and impact of their work; CSOs regularly network within and outside the beneficiary; public institutions recognise the importance of CSOs in improving good governance; Fund-raising activities are rooted in CSOs' long-term strategic plans and the core mission of the organisation; all individuals and legal entities can express themselves freely, assemble peacefully and establish, join and participate in non-formal and/or registered organisations.
Elligibility of applicants
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person and
- be non-profit-making and
- be a civil society organisation and
- be established in Bosnia and Herzegovina and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary.
Size of grants
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
- minimum amount: EUR 1,300,000
- maximum amount: EUR 1,500,000
