Background
The global objective of this call for proposals is to strengthen participatory democracies and the EU integration process in the Western Balkans and Turkey by empowering civil society to actively take part in decision making and by stimulating an enabling legal and financial environment for civil society and pluralistic media.
The specific objective of this call for proposals is to provide support to the functioning of civil society organisations to implement their core activities against an agreed work programme in a number of pre-defined sectors/priorities for monitoring central and local government policies.
The activities foreseen in the work programme should correspond to the pursuit of the organisation's statutory objectives which must be clearly indicating one (1) priority sector out of the eleven (11) listed in the call for proposals.
Eligibility
• be a legal person
• be non-profit-making
• be a non-governmental organisation and
• be established in the Republic of North Macedonia at least two (2) years before this call is launched
Size of grants
• minimum amount: EUR 40,000.00
• maximum amount: EUR 80,000.00
