Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is “to contribute to strengthening participatory democracy by improving the resilience of rights-based civil society organisations and grassroot organisations in Turkey”.
The specific objectives of this call for proposals are:
(1) To support human rights civil society organisations and grass root organisations to secure their functioning.
(2) To increase the capacity of civil society organisations.
Eligibility of applicants
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
• be a legal person;
• be non-profit-making;
• be a civil society organisation;
• be established in a Member State of the European Union or a Beneficiary of the IPA II or a member state of the European Economic Area
(EEA) country, and
• be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the co-applicants and affiliated entityies, not acting as an
intermediary.
Size of grants
LOT1:
Any grant requested under this Lot must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
• Minimum amount: EUR 2,500,000
• Maximum amount: EUR 3,000,000.
LOT2:
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
• minimum amount: EUR 3,500,000
• maximum amount: EUR 4,000,000.
