Objective
The global objective of this call for proposals is to enhance the involvement and impact of the civil society in contributing to the rule of law and to a more resilient and cohesive society.
The specific objective of this call for proposals is to encourage state and non-state actors to work together to build resilient and inclusive communities able to encourage youth participation in cultural, social, economic and public life, to reduce the risks of young people and vulnerable groups being attracted to violent extremism and organised crime, and to effective reintegration, resocialisation and rehabilitation of convicted persons after release.
Eligibility of applicants
In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person registered at least two years before the call is launched;
- be non-profit-making;
- be a specific type of organisation such as: civil society organisations i.e. organisations considered as non-state, non-profit making actors
operating on an independent and accountable basis. They include: non-governmental organisations, professional associations,
employers' associations, local government, municipalities, public bodies and any other non-governmental associations and independent
foundations;
- be established in Republic of North Macedonia or in a Member State of the European Union;
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the coapplicants and affiliated entityies, not acting as an
intermediary and
- in case the applicant is not established in North Macedonia, it must act with at least one coapplicant that is established in North Macedonia.
Size of grants
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum
amounts:
- minimum amount: EUR 200,000
- maximum amount: EUR 500,000.
