Objectives:

The overall objective of the project is to enhance the social inclusion of persons with mental health disorders. The project has the purpose to enable deinstitutionalisation and social inclusion of persons with mental health disorders by transforming the institutions to improve services and by supporting the development of social and health services at local level.

Tasks

The Team Leader will be in charge of the organisation, allover coordination of the activities and performance of the project. He will provide TA to deliver results, advise and support all responsible persons.  Moreover, providing EU policy experience is helpful.

Qualifications and skills:

   - University degree in social care or related field

General professional experience:


   - Minimum 8, but preferably 12 years of post graduate professional experience in the field of social inclusion or protection;

Specific professional experience:

   - Minimum 5, but preferably 10 years in at least one of the following areas: development of community-based social services or
     development of community-based mental health services;
   - Experience in design and implementation of transformation plans for social care institutions gained in at least 1 project, but preferably 3
     projects of similar complexity and duration;
   - Experience in leading teams in the public or private sector or in donor funded projects in 1, but preferably 3 projects of similar complexity
     and duration.

Assignment period

The intended commencement date is third quarter of 2012 and the period of execution of the contract will be 24 months from the commencement date.
