SOGES S.P.A./PREPARATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATIONAL AND LOCAL WASTE MANAGEMENT PLANS/KEY EXPERT/2011/S 205-332736

Objective

The overall objective of the project is to provide TA to prepare the national waste management plan and assist the municipalities in preparing and implementing local waste management plans with the aim of strengthening their capacities. It will also result in improved stakeholder interaction and enhanced municipal participation in the strategic decision-making process.

Qualifications

  · Diploma in environmental engineering or equivalent at a master’s level.
  · More than 10 years of strong experience in EC technical assistance and Project management with a specialty on waste management and
    treatment.
  · Proven experience in waste management plans conception and drafting.
  · Acknowledged skills in waste management plans preparation and setting up.
  · Agreed experience in managing waste management centres/regional sanitary landfills.
  · Good communication skills and in-depth experience in policy dialogues with multi-language stakeholders.
  · Significant experience in institutional capacity building in the Balkans region.
  · Proven language skills in English. Knowledge of Serbian will be an advantage.
