ADT Project GmbH leads an international consortium implementing the EU-funded project "Development and Implementation of Agri-environment Measures (AEM)".

1. Junior short-term software development expert (total 40 working days from 1 March - 21 May 2012)

Key Tasks:

      • Support ongoing coordination on technical issues related to the design and development of the software basis for the Agri-environment
         Management Information System with AFSARD. MAFWE and the current World Bank contractor that is selected for development of the
         IACS soft­ware;
      • Continuously support the process for the development of the Agri-Environment Management Information System and the integration in
         the overall IT system of AFSARD;
      • Support methodological risk analysis for AEM on the spot control from technical aspect;
      • Prepare specification for integrating the registers that are relevant for administration and control of AEM schemes into the IACS
         software solution;
      • Contribution to the project's technical reports

Qualifications and skills:

     • University degree (System Software Engineering, Computer Science. Applied Informatics. Management of Information Systems).
     • Flexible approach to manage day to day work load;
     • Strongly output orientated: Team worker;
     • Good English language skills

General professional experience

     • Minimum of 3 years professional experience especially in the field of software development;
     • Working experience in software systems for the management of direct payments and other public payment related to agriculture and
        rural development;
     • Working experience related to business analyses and system inte­gration of complex software solutions.

Candidate applications will be assessed against eliminatory and merit-based criteria.
Eliminatory criteria: diploma, field of experience, years of experi­ence in the given field and minimum language requirements.
Merit based criteria: working experience in the development of IT systems related to agriculture sector, experience with software system for direct payments and other public payments related to agriculture and rural development.
Civil servants and other staff currently employed by public administra­tions of the beneficiary country are not eligible to apply as experts
