MK-SKOPJE: IPA — CAPACITY BUILDING OF THE COMPETENT AUTHORITIES FOR FOOD SAFETY, VETERINARY AND PHYTOSANITARY POLICY 2012/S 35-055316

Contract description:                                                                               Maximum budget: EUR 1.938.250

The purpose of this contract is to provide technical assistance for improving the institutional framework for  food safety in the country, by strengthening the existing system of competent bodies and institutions in order to  ensure an integrated multidisciplinary approach, covering all food chain stages.

In particular, the contract shall incorporate:

    - administrative and institutional strengthening of the Food and Veterinary Agency, Phytosanitary Directorate  and State Phytosanitary
      Laboratory,
    - phytosanitary monitoring programme for plant health,
    - preparation for accreditation of inspection services.

Budget:

Maximum budget: 1 938 250 EUR.

Eligibility:

Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of  candidates) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the  regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the  contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations. The  participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under  which the contract is financed.
