Project Description:

The overall objective of this project is to ensure continuous improvement of the vocational education and training (VET) system in Croatia especially in connection with role of VET teachers and in-service teacher training in a system based on qualifications and learning outcomes.

The purposes are as follows:

  • Improvement of in-service VET teacher training system and raising its quality
  • To strengthen role and responsibilities of AVETAE in planning, development and implementation of modern continuous in-service VET
     teacher training in a system based on learning outcomes.

Requirements:

Qualifications and skills:

  - University degree;
  - Fluency in both written and spoken English.

General professional experience:

  - 10 years of professional experience in the secondary level VET;
  - Work experience in EU pre-accession countries is considered an asset.

Specific professional experience:

  - 2 years of experience with TNA approach;
  - 2 years of experience in development of VET teacher training curriculum;
  - 2 years of experience in development of VET teachers occupational standards or equivalent documents;
  - Experience in working with qualifications based on learning outcomes is an asset;
  - Experience in capacity building activities in the field of secondary level VET is an asset.

Duration of the assignment: min 200 work days over 18 months
