EUROPEAID/132182/M/ACT/HR /CAPACITY BUILDING OF THE ADULT EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS

Objectives:                                                                                                Max. Grant Amount: EUR 150.000

The global objective of this Call for Proposals is:

   - To strengthen the adult education sector in order to increase labour market competitiveness of adult learners.

The specific objective of this Call for Proposals is:

   - To support and encourage the overall enhancement of the capacities of adult education institutions in close  cooperation with local
     stakeholders.

Size of grants

Any grant requested under this Call for Proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum  amounts:
 
    - minimum amount: EUR 50,000
    - maximum amount: EUR 150,000

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants must:

   - be legal persons and
   - not derive profit from grant i.e. the grant can only cover costs of activities and
   - be specific type of organisation such as:
        a) adult education institutions or,
        b) open universities;
        c) international (inter-governmental) organisations as defined by Article 43 of the Implementing Rules to the EC Financial Regulation
            and
   - be established  in a Member State of the European Union and Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia,  Macedonia, Montenegro,
     Serbia, Turkey and Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99; countries that are  beneficiaries of the European Neighbourhood and
     Partnership Instrument; Member States of the  European Economic Area: Iceland, Lichtenstein, Norway. This obligation does not apply to
     international  organisations and
   - be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as  an intermediary
