Contract description: Maximum budget: EUR 1.500.000
The overall objective of this project is improvement of the business environment thus enhancing the levels of competitiveness in the country. The purpose of the operation is to further develop the capacity of policymakers and business organisations to identify, analyse and communicate future impact of key regulatory areas for business in Croatia, improve the awareness of the business community regarding these key areas and leverage the development of a stronger culture of entrepreneurship specifically focused on regional development.
The main project beneficiary is the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts (MEC), while other project beneficiary/partners are: Croatian Agency for Small Enterprises (HAMAG), Croatian Chamber of Economy (HGK), Croatian Chamber of Crafts (HOK), Croatian Employer Association (HUP). Institutions listed as other project beneficiaries/partners cannot apply as a service providers nor can be subcontracted for the activities in this project.
The project activities encompass review, changes, updates and additions in the developed impact assessment (IA) methodology and manual with economic IA particularities in line with the RIA system methodology and model of structures, training and development of specified economic IA, review and development of consultation mechanism, review of international best practice on effective consultation tools for economic IA, awareness raising, implementation of Croatian business test panel, creation of new mini-guides on relevant legislation, and an SME and crafts newsletter.

Maximum budget: 1 500 000 EUR.
Eligibility:
Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of candidates) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations. The participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the contract is financed.
