Qualifications and skills

    - University Degree in Economics, IT, Public administration, Business Administration or other discipline relevant to the project; or
      equivalent of 10 years of professional experience above the minimum requested general professional experience
    - A master's/ PhD degree in Economics, IT, Public administration, Business Administration or other discipline relevant to the project will be
      an advantage.

General professional experience

    - Minimum 8, preferably 12 years of working experience in IT systems implementing for Customs Administration in EU Member States or
      related European Commission Services.
    - Experience gained in countries covered by article 19 of IPA regulation would be considered an advantage.

Specific professional experience

    - Minimum 5, but preferably 10 years of leading teams in the public or private sector and/or donor funded projects of similar duration and
      complexity.
    - Minimum 3, but preferably 5 years of working experience in project management in development of IT systems in the field of the Common
      Transit Convention/NCTS system in EU Member States, European Commission Services or candidate / potential candidate countries;
    - Implementation of NCTS related projects in 2 or more different countries would be an advantage
