EUROPEAN CONSULTING GROUP / STRENGTHENING OF THE BLOOD SAFETY SYSTEM / KEY EXPERT 1: MEDICAL EXPERT WITH MANAGEMENT HEALTH EXPERTISE

Background:

The overall objective of the project is to provide quality, efficient and continuous health care to the population of the Macedonia through providing safety of blood and blood components, as well as through protecting the population from communicable diseases.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum university/bachelor degree in medicine (where the bachelor degree has been awarded on completion of a minimum of four years
     study in a university). A masters degree would be considered as an asset;
  • Good communication skills.

General professional experience:

  • At least 10 years professional experience in the health sector, preferably gathered in an institution (or public administration) of an EU Member
    State with practical experience with blood safety issues and preferably at a high level of seniority.  

Specific professional experience:

  • Experience of at least 5 years in blood safety systems in EU countries is required;
  • Experience as team leader in at least 2 projects of a similar nature;
  • Experience in the development of written rules and procedures such as: Guidelines on blood safety; Practicioners’ Guide on
    blood safety containing Standard Operative Procedures and similar.

Duration: minimum 150 working days
