Objectives:
The global objective of this Call for Proposals is:
A more dynamic civil society actively participating in public debate on democracy, human rights, social inclusion and the rule of law and with capacity to influence policy and decision making processes.
The specific objective (s) of this Call for Proposals is/are (for lots 1-9):
- To stimulate and strengthen the issue based CSO networks, cooperation, exchange of knowledge and experience between them in order to
become stronger partner in the dialogue with the governmental authorities.
The specific objective (s) of this Call for Proposals is/are (for lots 10-11):
- To support to CSOs in several different areas such as: fight against corruption, awareness building in the area of justice and security.
The specific objective (s) of this Call for Proposals is/are (for lot 12):
- To support capacity building of environmental CSOs in becoming better partner to the governments in shaping policies of state, entities,
District Brčko and municipalities to deal with BiH' real environmental problems.
Lots (Minimum one grant is foreseen per lots: 1-11)
- Lot 1: Social inclusion
- Lot 2: Youth
- Lot 3: Environment
- Lot 4: Entrepreneurship
- Lot 5: Education
- Lot 6: Culture
- Lot 7: Rural development and combating unemployment
- Lot 8: Health
- Lot 9: Media
- Lot 10: Anti-corruption
- Lot 11: Justice and Home affairs
- Lot 12: Environment and climate change
Size of grants:
Any grant awarded under this Call for Proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
For lots: 1 -9:
- minimum amount: EUR 150,000
- maximum amount: EUR 250,000
For lots 10-11
- minimum amount: EUR 50,000
- maximum amount: EUR 100,000
For Lot 12: (only one grant is foreseen for this lot)
- minimum amount EUR 400,000
- maximum amount: EUR 500,000
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants must:
Note that only issue-based ngos networks are eligible to apply to this Call for Proposals. – (not applicable for Lot # 10, #11 and #12)
- be legal persons and
- be non profit making and
- be non-governmental organisations, and
- be established in 1 a Member State of the European Union or a country that is a beneficiary of the Council Regulation (EC) N° 1085/2006,
of 17 July 2006, establishing an Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA) (Croatia, Macedonia, Turkey, Albania, Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo under UNSCR 1244), a country that is a beneficiary of the European Neighbourhood and
Partnership Instrument (Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Moldova, Morocco,
Palestinian Authority of the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Russian Federation, Syria, Tunisia and Ukraine), or a Member State of the
European Economic Area (Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway and
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary
