Background:
The project “Partnership for Revitalization of Rural Areas” is supporting Serbia's economic development by strengthening local partnerships and helping to diversify local development strategies. Funded by the Government of Romania, the project has been initiated in May 2010, and is expected to end in December 2012. It is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management and UNDP Serbia. The project has been developed in accordance with priorities identified by the Government of Serbia in the National Rural Development Strategy for 2008-2013, National Agriculture Programme for 2010-2013 and Action Plan for Biomass 2010-2012, as well as in the UNDP Country Programme Action Plan.
The project will deliver the following outputs:
1. Social capital mobilized at the local and regional level and rural development capacities strengthened;
2. Partnerships for rural development strengthened through joint projects.
Objectives:
The objective is to ensure trainings are meeting the needs of the local stakeholders in the target municipalities of Golubac, Kucevo, Zagubica and Bor, thus facilitating their involvement in cross-border-cooperation projects and development of business ideas regarding to community efforts for rural development.

• Excellent analytical, organizational and inter-personal skills;
• Fluency in Serbian and English;
• Demonstrated competence in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Valid driving license.

Duration of Initial Contract : 8 months (not to exceed 80 working days in total)
