Global objective

The global (overall) objective is to support the Croatian institutions in approximation of EU Habitats Directive and Birds Directive through further development of information system envisaged to provide efficient implementation of NATURA 2000 in Croatia.

Expert profile

Qualifications and skills:

    - Masters Degree academic level (university level education in duration of 4 years) in natural science (absolutely required) alternatively 14
      years of general professional experience (absolutely required);
    - Working knowledge of English language (absolutely required).

General professional experience:

   - 10 years of professional experience of habitat mapping in the IT (absolutely required).

Specific professional experience:

   - 5 years of professional experience in fieldwork related to habitat mapping (absolutely required);
   - 5 years of professional experience in remote sensing and GIS mapping (absolutely required);
   - 1 year of professional experience related to NATURA 2000 reporting according to Article 17 of habitat directive (HD).

Location & Duration: Croatia – 49 working days.
