Contract description:                                                                               Maximum budget: EUR 6.800.000

The project purpose is the preparation of the technical documentation for the rail modernization project 'Doubling and upgrading of existing railway corridor Xb, section Novi Sad (excluding the junction)–Subotica– Hungarian border', prepared in accordance with EUinteroperability standards, AGC, AGTC and the SEECP  Agreement. The assignment includes the following services:

    a. preliminary surveys including geotechnical investigations and geodetic surveys;
    b. the preparation of the feasibility study including cost-benefit analysis and environmental impact assessment  study;
    c. the preliminary design for construction, modernisation and doubling of railway civil infrastructures and  technological components,
        including ERTMS introduction, BoQ and cost estimates;
    d. the preparation of the tender dossier for a 'design and build' works contract (in accordance with EU PRAG  requirements and FIDIC
        conditions);
    e. the preparation of project financing applications (application forms, following DG REGIO's requirements  and IFIs' requirements) in an
        EU Member State, EU candidate or potential candidate countries for transport  investment projects.

The project should result in the set of documentation prepared in compliance with the national regulations  and EC requirements, ready to be approved by the national reference institutions as well as EC relevant  authorities.

Budget:

Maximum budget: 6 800 000 EUR.

Eligibility:

Participation is open to all legal persons (participating either individually or in a grouping (consortium) of  candidates) which are established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country or territory of the  regions covered and/or authorised by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under which the  contract is financed. Participation is also open to international organisations. The  participation of natural persons is governed by the specific instruments applicable to the programme under  which the contract is financed.
