Background:
The project’s three specific outputs are:
1) An increased gender-sensitive access and literacy of remittance-recipients and senders to financial services in order to promote the
accumulation of local savings and investment;
2) Models and mechanisms that facilitate migrants’ investment and savings in Kosovo are identified and piloted; and
3) Evidence-based policies created by Kosovo authorities who have an improved capacity to produce and manage information related to
migration and development, including gender disaggregated data.
The project reports on a quarterly basis to the project board, consisting members of UNDP, IOM, the government of Finland (donor) and Ministry of Diaspora (beneficiary). The project has two team members, Project Manager and Project Associate.

Required Skills and Experience:
Education:
• Secondary degree in finance, economics or business/public administration. Bachelor degree will be a distinct advantage.
Experience:
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant post degree experience in project/programme implementation and financial/ administrative management of
projects/programme.
• Experience in working with Atlas or other web based management systems
• Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.), proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets,
databases, and presentation software
• Experience in working with international organizations
Language Requirements:
• Fluency in both oral and written English and Albanian, knowledge of Serbian will be an asset

Duration of Initial Contract: 12 months
Expected Duration of Assignment: 24 months with possibility of extension
