The EBRD seeks to recruit a National Programme Manager, Business Advisory Services (BAS) to be based in the Skopje Resident Office.
Role Overview & Key areas of responsibility
The EBRD (BAS enables micro, small and medium sized enterprises to access u diverse range of consulting services by facilitating projects with local consultants on a cost sharing basis. BAS is a donor funded programme, managed by the Small Business Support (SBS) Team and operates in conjunction with the Enterprise Growth Programme (EGP).
Since its inception in 2002, BAS has assisted over 500 projects in Macedonia committing €4.9 million of donor funds. BAS in Macedonia is currently funded by the European Union.
The National Programme Manager's key responsibilities include managing, monitoring and supporting the implementation of BAS in Macedonia. The principal tasks will include, but are not limited to, managing day-to-day operations of BAS including BAS projects and market development activities, ensuring effective financial planning and management in line with BAS Operational Plans.
Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Relevant degree from a leading university in the country of education
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience gained within consultancy industry, commerce, international donor organizations or support
programmes.
- At least 2 years supervisory and/or team management experience.
- Proven track record of project Management, including operational and management responsibility.
- Proven, strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data for use in operational planning.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Macedonian.
- Computer literate.
