Objectives:                                                                                               Max. Grant Amount: EUR 150.000

The global objective of this Call for Proposals is to achieve 'A more dynamic civil society actively participating in public debate on democracy, human rights, social inclusion and the rule of law and with capacity to influence policy and decision making processes.'

The specific objectives of  this Call for Proposals are:


   - Strengthening CSOs capacities to participate in decision-making processes, and to monitor and evaluate the implementation of policies,
     strategies and laws
   - Enhance civic and capacity-building initiatives to enforce the role of civil society at national and grass-root level.

Size of grants

Any grant requested under this Call for Proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:

    - minimum amount: EUR 50,000
    - maximum amount: EUR  150,000

Eligibility:

In order to be eligible for a grant, applicants must:

    - be legal persons, and
    - be non profit making, and
    - be specific types of civil society organisations such as:
          - non-governmental organisations working on themes relevant to the Call for Proposals,
          - local citizens groups or organisations at grass-root level,
          - network of CSOs working on themes relevant to the Call for Proposals,
          - professional organisations (non-profit organisations for advancing specific profession),
          - cultural, artistic clubs or associations,
          - media associations,
          - organisations representing social and economic players at large (e.g. associations of consumers, patients, students, business
            associations, etc.),
          - labour-market actors (trade-unions and associations of employers , and
     - be established in  a Member State of the European Union or in a country covered by the Article 19 of the IPA Regulation, and
     - be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not acting as an intermediary.
