The CBP SRB - BiH addresses the need to develop and strengthen cross-border connections with the aim of promoting good neighbourly relations and the sustainable economic and social development of the Serbia - Bosnia and Herzegovina border areas.
Objectives:
- Improving the institutional framework for SME development in the eligible areas;
- Development of tourism as a key sector of the border economy;
- Promoting cross-border trade cooperation and accessibility to markets;
- (Re)Establishing cross-border synergies between business and trade support organisations to promote joint cooperative initiatives;
- Maintaining the high quality of the environment of the eligible area as an economic resource by cooperating in joint protection and
exploitation initiatives;
- Strengthening cross-border people-to-people interaction to reinforce cultural and sporting links and to jointly participate in activities
of common interest.

Eligibility
Each application will be submitted as a joint proposal formulated by two applicants acting in partnership, one applying for funds from the Contracting Authority in Bosnia and Herzegovina and one applying for funds from the Contracting Authority in Serbia.
To be eligible for grants, applicants must:
- be non profit legal persons and be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with their partners, not
acting asan intermediary, and
- belong to one of the following categories: regional and local public authorities; associations of municipalities; development
agencies;local business support organizations such as chambers of commerce, business centres, SME associations, sectoral
associations, local trade associations, tourism and cultural organisations/associations; non-governmental organizations, including
the Red Cross and Red Crescent national societies; national authorities/institutions with operations in the eligible area;bodies and
organisations (including NGOs) for nature protection; bodies responsible for water management; fire/emergency services; schools;
colleges and educational and research institutes;universities, including vocational and technical training institutions; international
organisations

Actions must take place in the Programme area, as defined in the CBP SRB - BIH:
Serbia: All the municipalities of Sremski, Mačvanski, Zlatiborski and Kolubarski Districts are eligible as follows: Sremski County: Sremska Mitrovica, Šid, Inđija, Irig, Ruma, Stara Pazova, Pećinci; Mačvanski County: Šabac, Bogatić, Loznica, Vladimirci, Koceljevo, Mali Zvornik, Krupanj, Ljubovija; Zlatiborski County: Bajina Bašta, Kosjerić, Užice, Požega, Čajetina, Arilje, Priboj, Nova Varoš, Prijepolje, Sjenica; Kolubarski County: Valjevo, Osečina, Ub, Lajkovac, Mionica, Ljig) and
