Project description:


Overall objective of the project:

To increase the social inclusion of the social care and assistance beneficiaries.

Purpose:


To support experts from the social welfare sector in further development and implementation of the efficient and inclusive social services by improving the process of social planning and institutional transformation.

Job description:


Duration and location of assignment
• at least 300 working days over 22 months;
• Zagreb, with extensive travelling throughout Croatia.

Qualifications:


Qualifications and skills
 
  • A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years duration attested by a diploma in
     Humanities or Social Sciences or relevant, directly related discipline;
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English;
  • Computer literacy.

General professional experience

  • Preferably 10 but minimum 6 years of professional experience in the field of social welfare;
  • Preferably 5 but minimum 2 years of experience in implementing activities of organisational development (strategic planning, business
     plan development, human resource development, management of change, etc.);
  • 5 years of experience in the implementation of ESF or pre-accession funds funded projects is an advantage.

Specific professional experience

  • Preferably 4 but minimum 1 year of experience in providing consultancy to national governments, ministries or social welfare institutions
     on institutional transformation and community based services development;
  • Experience in drafting analytical and/or strategic documents related to social inclusion;
  • Experience in provision of training programmes.
