Background:

Objectives

The specific objective of this assignment is to carry out an assessment of the needs for specialized equipment of the Public Prosecution Office (in the investigative centres/teams or other models) according to the new Law on criminal procedure, to conduct a market study and cost estimation of the equipment and to prepare the Tender Dossier, including all annexes, for the supply of the specialized equipment.

Experts profile

  ·  Education of at least Master’s Degree Academic level in telecommunication, information technology or other related technical field or at
     least 5 years of general professional experience above the minimum general professional experience requested below;
  ·  At least 10 years of professional working experience in telecommunication, information technology or other related technical field;
  ·  At least 5 years of experience in design, development and/or management of technical solutions for specialized equipment used in pre-trial
     criminal procedures;
  ·  Experience with the Rules and Procedures applying to EC external aid contracts financed from the European Communities (PRAG rules);
  ·  Experience in implementing at least one project of similar nature (Market Study, Cost estimation, TD with Technical specifications for
     supply of specialized equipment);
  ·  Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
