Requested services
The Non-Key Expert (Short Term Expert: STE) on Communication and Networks shall carry out the following activities:
- Work closely with AAM and MCA Experts in evaluating progress of the production and implementation of the IT
communicationenvironment required by the NCTS system;
- Work closely with AAM and MCA Experts in evaluating the security requirements to the NCTS system;
- Support to AAM Experts in support to MCA in evaluation and testing activities of the necessary for security of the NCTS application.
- C Stack Wrapper source code review – the application for the queues management to the CCN / CSI gateway.
Required outputs
- Short-Term Expert is to prepare a report covering the expertise area within the project (Security Concept).
- Short-Term Expert is to produce the evaluation document of the status for the communication of NCTS system.
- Short-Term Expert is to produce a report regarding NCTS Implementation Project security issues.
Profile required of the expert
The expert should demonstrate through its CV the following knowledge and professional capacity:
Professional qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Information and Communication technologies and/or Computer Networks
- Masters degree will be considered as an advantage.
Language skills
- Fluent English, both written and spoken, Macedonian language is an asset.
Work experience:
General professional experience:
- Minimum 5 years of professional working experience in areas of communications, computer networks and security.
Specific professional experience:
- Experience EU Customs in ICT (Information Communication Technology) facility adaption;
- Knowledge of EU customs systems;
- Experience and knowledge in NCTS;
- Competent to evaluate CCN/CSI within the relation to EU Customs functional system environment;
- Competent to evaluate network security solutions;
- Experience in network traffic analyses;
- Experience in network design;
- Demonstrated knowledge of wide variety of network solutions, specifications and protocols.
