UNDP/NATIONAL CONSULTANT FOR PERFORMANCE OF OUTCOME EVALUATION

Objectives

The objectives of the assignment are: (1) to collect data relevant to the International Evaluator as a support to his work; (2) analyzing background strategic documents and other documents of relevance to the outcome evaluation; (3) provision of information in regard to the national socio- economic context, national policies related to the employment; (4) provision of analytical data related to the relations among national institutions, partners in the implementation of the Employment Programme; (5) analyzing findings from the fieldwork (including focus groups) .

Requirements
 
     - BA in Economics or related disciplines (business and related fields). MA will be considered as a strong asset.
     - Strong understanding of and experience in financial and economic parameters relevant for the country; ability to conceptualize
       analytical frameworks based on available information and recourses and ability to identify and address issues in a systematic manner
       especially in the areas of labour market analysis.
     - Experiences in statistics in the areas of employment policy, interpretation of data to diagnose the situation, and cross-tabulation
       analysis;  
     - Expected experience in the area of statistics is minimum 5 years.
     - Excellent computer skills, ability to use information technology as a tool and resource
