SOGES S.P.A./PREPARATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE NATIONAL AND LOCAL WASTE MANAGEMENT PLANS EUROPEAID/131273/C/SER/ME/KEY EXPERT 1: TEAM LEADER, SENIOR WASTE MANAGEMENT EXPERT

The Team Leader will provide an input of 250 working days, all to be spent in Montenegro. The team leader is in charge of overall project co-ordination and quality control, and should have a key role in all technical aspects of the project.

Qualifications and skills

    • University degree in environmental, mechanical or chemical engineering, environmental science, or equivalent educational background
       in the area of waste management, or et least 15 years but preferably 20 years of work experience in the in area of waste management
    • Master or PhD in a relevant field will be considered as an advantage;
    • Proficient in English, oral and written.

General professional experience

    • Preferably 15 but at least 10 years of working experience in the field of waste management, preferably in the field of municipal and/or
       industrial waste,
    • Experience in the field of inter-municipal cooperation for the provision of environmental services;

Specific professional experience

   • Occupied position of a Team Leader in at least two technical assistance projects related to waste management in EU Member States,
      Candidate Countries or transition countries;
   • Knowledge of EU requirements with respect to the management of waste;
   • Practical experience in providing technical expertise for implementation of the EU Acquis in the field of waste management, in EU
      Member States, Candidate Countries or transition countries;
   • Experience in developing inter-municipal or national waste management plans in EU Member States, Candidate Countries or transition
      countries is required;
   • Recent experience in the Western Balkans will be considered as an advantage.
