The tasks of the Assistant include:
1. Administrative support to the RTA during implementation of the twinning project
2. Management assistance (including standard office activities).
3. Project management assistance by taking care of mission preparations and filing mission reports, time sheets and mission certificates.
4. Preparation, organization and support of local activities and missions of Member States’ experts.
5. Assistance in activities such as: trainings, workshops, seminars, etc. and in the administrative tasks involved when required.
6. Assistance to RTA in his relations with public offices relevant for project activities.
7. Linguistic assistance with the Macedonian administration and for the RTA.
8. Translation of documents for the missions and interpretation whenever needed.
9. Taking minutes, preparing notes and summary records.
10. Research of documents and reports and preparation of synthesis.
11. Drafting and editing texts relevant to the project (newsletters, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, substantive documents) in
English and Macedonian language.
12. Contribute to the development of the Twinning communication strategy
Requirements for the candidates:
- University degree in Economics, Statistics, Public Administration, Social Sciences or any other relevant discipline.
- Besides Macedonian mother tongue, fluency in both written and spoken English is required.
- Knowledge of German or of any other EU language is an advantage.
- Desirable 3 years working experience. Previous experience on EU funded projects would be an asset.
- Practical experiences in managing the projects.
- Well developed analytical and report writing skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including a first-class command of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent team working abilities are essential together with an innate diplomacy.
- Ability to learn and improve skills in a new professional environment (Statistics)
- Highly motivated and results oriented. Problem-solving approach and readiness to work hard and flexibly as part of an international
result-oriented team.
