The aim of the project is to research the current uptake of crowdfunding to support cultural and
creative actors, share insights with CCS actors, policy makers and crowdfunding platforms
about the use and potential impact of crowdfunding, share inspiring examples of how
crowdfunding is used to leverage CCS practices.
In the online platform www.crowdfunding4culture.eu you can find practical information on what
crowdfunding is, its different models, VAT and costs, as well as an interactive tool where
crowdfunding platforms can be viewed and compared. Moreover, an interactive map for platforms
in Europe that host crowdfunding campaigns for cultural and creative projects. The map is a work-in-
progress and will be updated regularly.
On top of this a ‘News and Event’ page covers recent updates and events on crowdfunding, whereas
the ‘Resources’ page aggregates useful links, reports and publications…(link)
