GEO/ EU PROMOTES SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN GEORGIA

The forum hosted newly established and existing social enterprises, as well as NGOs and
businesses. This year participants exchanged experiences from the field, gave awards to
the best social enterprises and presented the newly-established "Social Enterprise
Alliance". The Alliance will provide its members with training and counselling, advocacy
and research activities, inter-sectoral cooperation, and partnership opportunities.
The forum aims to improve collaboration and relations between entrepreneurs and organisations
working to promote social entrepreneurship and its development in Georgia. The "Social
Entrepreneurship - Innovative Approach for Economic and Social Changes" project aims to promote
social entrepreneurship to build economic and environmental capacitiesfor vulnerable groups of
