The new ‘Better Qualifications for Better Jobs’ programme will improve the employability of the
workforce, with a particular emphasis on agricultural employment.
The programme will support the development of a national system of professional orientation and
career guidance centres. It will contribute to the development of qualifications and aims to
improve the employability of jobseekers.
With a budget of EUR 15.2 million, it will also improve the mechanisms to identify and match labour
supply with private and public sector demand through more effective data. In addition, the initiative
has a particular focus on employment of agricultural Vocational Education Training (VET)
