TUR/ THE EU FUNDED INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DISABILITY RIGHTS WILL TAKE PLACE IN ISTANBUL THIS WEEKEND!

  The European Union in Turkey invites the journalists and all interested parties to the "International     Conference on Disability Rights" which will take place within the framework of the EU funded     programme "Promoting Equal Rights of People with Disabilities to improve their Access to Justice in     Combating Discrimination". The Head of EU Delegation to Turkey, Ambassador Christian Berger, will     deliver an opening speech at the conference, where 40 International and Turkish Panellists and over     120 representatives from academia, public institutions, media and Civil Society Organizations from all     over Turkey will be present. The ‘Promoting Equal Rights of People with Disabilities’ Programme, which   is funded by the European Union, aims primarily at promoting the rights and full participation of people   with disabilities in society, ensuring their right to access to justice on an equal grounds with others and     mainstreaming their participation to policy and decision making processes...(link)
