THIRD UPDATE ON THE REGIONAL STRATEGY FOR SUSTAINABLE HYDROPOWER IN THE WESTERN BALKANS

The “Clean Energy Transition in the Western Balkans” is the topic of a meeting of the Ministers of Energy and of Environment of the region, to be held in Podgorica, Montenegro, on 21 February 2019. The Ministers will also sign a joint Statement. In addition, the conclusions of the study on “A Regional Strategy for Sustainable Hydropower in the Western Balkans” will be presented. A Senior Official Meeting precedes the Ministerial Meeting.
Consultations with beneficiaries, civil society organisations, and international financing institutions are planned to take place in the build-up to the Ministerial meeting.
