€750 MILLION EURO MADE AVAILABLE FOR CLEAN ENERGY INFRASTRUCTURE IN THE EU

The Connecting Europe Facility is the EU's €33 billion plan for boosting energy, transport, and digital infrastructure between 2014 and 2020. The 2019 CEF Energy call for proposals will be opened until 13 June 2019.
One of the Commission's energy policy priorities is the construction of environmentally friendly infrastructures in order to give consumers more choice, and to spur economic growth and jobs. Therefore, in line with this strategy, the Commission is providing €750 million to finance European energy infrastructure projects with major cross-border benefits.
