ALB/ €1 MILLION EU FUNDS BRING THE BANK OF ALBANIA CLOSER TO THE NATIONAL BANKS OF EU MEMBER STATES

Albania, and the national banks of Italy and France was completed today. Over the past 20 months,
the twinning has improved the working practices of the Bank of Albania in line with the practices of
the European System of Central Banks. Concretely, experts from Banca d’Italia and Banque de
France have worked side by side with the Albanian counterparts, and members of staff of the Bank
of Albania have received trainings to assist the country’s economic integration with the Union.
