www.balkans.com - Serbia's Minister of Construction and Urban Planning Velimir Ilic said in Banjaluka
Bosnia & Herzegovina that details of construction of a bridge on the Drina river, which will connect Serbia
and Republika Srpska, have been harmonised.
During the talks with Minister of Transport and Telecommunications of Republika Srpska Nedeljko
Cubrilovic, Ilic restated the importance of the bridge between the municipalities of Ljubovija and Bratunac,
which will connect Republika Srpska with Corridor 11, i.e. with the Belgrade – South Adriatic motorway.
The Serbia Minister said that a tender for choosing a contractor will be called after project documentation
is completed, which will happen within the next two months.
Since the advance payment has been made, the works can start in the second half of the year, while the
completion of the bridge is expected in late 2014, Ilic underlined.
