ALB/ ALBANIA' APOLLONIA TO BE RESTORED THROUGH EU FUNDS

www.xinhuanet.com Apollonia, the archeological site in central Albania, is one of the three in the Balkan region to be restored through a European Union (EU) fund. At a meeting of the Regional Cooperation Council held Monday, three archeological sites in the western Balkan region are to be restored through EU funds at a cost of 2.8 million euros. The other two archeological sites are the Franciscan Monastery of Bac in Serbia and the Banja Luka Castle in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
