A workshop will be held in Tbilisi in May, bringing together representatives of governments, civil
society and private sector from all six Eastern Partnership countries to discuss ways of raising
awareness on green economies, and sustainable consumption and production.
The 6 May workshop on Green Economies (GE) and Sustainable Consumption and Production
(SCP) policy framework is organised under the EU-funded project Greening economies in the
Eastern Neighbourhood (EaP GREEN).
The workshop will aim to raise awareness on the economic, environmental and social benefits
of GE and SCP approaches, review progress in resource efficiency in the region and take stock
of progress in policy development, and exchange experience and success stories from the EaP
and other European countries.
